Another 'Legotla' ... another excuse to spend unneccessary

Whilst the economy in South Africa leaves much to be desired, yet another 'Lekgotla' is planned for next month. This term 'Lekgotla'... what does it mean realy? In my view it is just a cheap excuse to party and waste elaborately.
We have forums already established within the Republic (Parlement; Union Buildings; Provincial Parliaments; Municipal Offices etc.) that can be used as vehicles to address any issue that may arise. Why does government need to take ministers out of this environment, drive them to a secret venue in the bush in order to discuss policy.

Top news stories in South Africa currently touches on the disturbing situation of thousands of job losses. Not only is the textile industry in the gravest danger, but also bad reports concerning our mining- and vehicle industries. It seems inevitable that the poor will get poorer and the fat cats will still dine on the cream.
Yet Zuma has to call upon 'mature adult' ministers to conduct their business in a manner fitting to their office.
Why is it still neccessary for the President to address even the slightest possiblity that the ministers might be 'naughty' and not stick to the explicit rules of their office?

Leave the bloody Legotlas, stop the bickering and start providing the jobs and the care South Africans need. By saving on unneccassary expenses, government can contribute to the well-being of all its people.

Zuma the people have spoken: You lead, we follow, you promise, we wait in anticipation.
